This is gonna be delicious. The NYT is billing the march for Science as an Anti-Trump Rally.  "The Antarctic continent is surrounded by a belt of ice - frozen seas - of at least twelve hundred miles thick." - Admiral Byrd Interesting to note that Byrd describes the periphery of Antarctica as a "belt", which wraps all the way around a central body.
